The Challenge

The original app suffered from low user retention due to confusing workflows and uninspiring UX. My challenge was to reimagine the interface and functionality to make fitness tracking **seamless, rewarding, and socially shareable**.

Design Process

🔬 User Research

  • **15 User Interviews** and competitive analysis conducted to build accurate user personas.
  • Identified a core need for simplified logging and motivational feedback.
  • Created user personas to guide design decisions, focusing on "The Beginner" and "The Consistent Tracker."

💡 Design Solutions

  • **Simplified Tracking Flows** for workouts and nutrition with a mobile-first approach to reduce daily logging time.
  • Implemented **Gamification** features (badges, streaks) and clear progress visuals to maintain motivation.
  • Integrated **Social Sharing** options for users to celebrate and compare achievements.
